Soulcalibur (ソウルキャリバー, Sōrukyaribā) is a 3D fighting game developed by Project Soul and produced by Namco.

In the game, the player controls a character known as the Nightmare, who is searching for the legendary weapon known as Soul Edge. The player must stop the mass murder of countless people in order to get Soul Edge and free the Nightmare from the curse that has befallen him.

The game is divided into two main parts: the story mode and the combat mode. In the story mode, the player will need to stop the mass murder of countless people in order to get Soul Edge and free the Nightmare from the curse that has befallen him.

The combat mode is a mode in which the player can fight against various enemies.
